This week in class we have been asking….

Can I use the correct punctuation when I am writing dialogue between two characters? How can I ‘advance the action’ in a narrative through character dialogue? How do you form equations in Maths/Algebra? Why did the Vikings want to settle in Britain? How do we see colour? What is needed to become a games designer? How can you make a difference to others in the world? What is the ’Kumbh Mela’?

We are also proud of the courage shown by our class members who represented the school at the local swimming gala.

Next week we will be asking....

How do I find pairs of values in Maths? Do I understand place value within 1 (decimals)? What is needed to write a news report? Do the Vikings deserve the reputation they have? Can I answer the question: In what diverse ways do Hindus build a sense of community? Does the distance between a light source and an object affect the length and width of the shadow? Am I able to be a game designer? Can I recognise my own achievements? Will I be able to use the different sketching skills learnt to start my final piece?

Our spelling rule for the next week will be ‘ei’ or ‘ie’ when the sound is ‘ee including:

belief, brief, deceit, deceive, field, grief, hygiene, niece, perceive, priest, receipt, receive, relief, shield
