This week in Year 5, we have shown kindness by helping out Mrs Stride who taught us for a couple of days. We helped her know where everything was in class and we tried to be on our best behaviour.
This week in Year 5, we have shown courage by completing our first jigsaw lesson this week. We had to sit in a circle and be brave enough to share our thoughts and even ask Mrs White some questions about our school. Luckily, we had Jerry (Paws) and Jez to look after us!
This week in Year 5, we have shown curiosity by becoming more skilled when using Microsoft word and we now know how to format text and insert images. We have also shown curiosity by learning all about Deenpal, who is a Sikh, and how he expresses his beliefs.
Next week, we will be finishing our dangerous creatures report and continuing with place value in Maths. In our curriculum work, we will be discovering more about North America in Geography as well as learning about gravity in Science. We hope to also find out some more about Deenpal and Sikhism.
Our spelling rule for next week, we will be learning the 'ay' digraph.
