This week in Year 2, we have started reading The Ice Monster by David Walliams, about an orphan girl in Victorian London who discovers a ancient woolly mammoth. 

In Maths, we have been learning how we can sort 2D and 3D shapes into groups and patterns based on their properties. 

In Geography, we have been identifying human and physical features of a village in Africa called Awra Amba. We have learned what 'food aid' and 'self-sufficient' means. In Art, we have been making tints and tones to paint and in Jigsaw we have been discussing how to work in a group to learn new skills.
