This week in class we have been asking, ‘What is transparent, translucent and opaque?’ We learned that transparent is when you can see really well through it, such as a window, translucent is when you can see a little through, like a water bottle and opaque is when you can’t see anything through it, like metal. In History, we asked, ‘What did Prehistoric Britons eat?’ We learned that during the palaeolithic and Mesolithic era homosapiens were hunters and gathers. They ate things like berries and meat. Whereas during the Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age they became farmers. This is called Agriculture.
Our 'Flash Back 4' questions were:
1.Name one main difference between the diet of prehistoric Britons during the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic era in comparison to the Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age?
2.A light source is something that ‘emits’ (produces) it’s own light. These objects can be described as what?
3.You would only see physical features on an OS map. True, or false?
4.What is interfacing?
Next week we will be asking, ‘Wheredid prehistoric Britons live?’ and ‘What are tertiary colours?’
Our spelling rule next week is ‘ear’ sounding words, such as: weary, cereal, serial, interfere, sincerely, experience, period, here, hear, peer, pier, steered
Our PE days are Tuesday (outdoor) and Thursday (indoor)
