This week in class we have been asking: how do we structure non-chronological reports? Is Algebra becoming more trickyto understand?  Why did the Vikings come to Britain?  How do Hindus celebrate Diwali and Holi?  How does the eye work?  Year 6 have also been fortunate enough to have visitors from both the police and fire service this week

In the first week back after half term we will be asking… what do philosophers teach us about life’s purpose? How do we classify living things? What is migration?  Are percentages easy to work with?  What is displacement in Art? 

Our spelling rule next week is the sound ‘z’ and includes words like: represent, who’s, fuse, disastrous, whose, bruise, recognise, physical.

Year 6 have also been working hard on their handwriting and are taking great pride in their written work.

 Children are free to work on whichever graduate award takes their interest.
