This week we have been asking: Are bigger wheels always better? How are most fixed axle vehicles powered? Will a vehicle with more wheels move faster? We also performed our music key piece to Mrs Lawson and the Y1 children. Scan the QR code to listen to our singing of the song ‘Down by the bay’.
Our Flashback 4 questions have been: What are the 5 British values? Who is Ayrton Senna and what is he known for? Can you name the 7 continents and the 5 oceans?
Next week we will be: Bringing together everything we have learnt during the Summer 2 term to create our final Year 2 Key Pieces. We will also be creating our DT piece next week which is based on mechanisms!
Our spelling rule next week is the ‘r’ sound spelt wr at the beginning of words such as: wrap, wreck, wrestle, written and wrong.
Our PE days are Wednesday and Thursday.
Our Graduate Award that we are working towards is Art, focusing on Alma Thomas.
