This week we have been: Bringing together everything we have learnt during the Summer 2 term to create our final Year 2 Key Pieces. This included writing a description of a boat trip from the River Humber as a part of geography! We have also created our DT piece which is based on mechanisms! We also watched the KS2 performance of Hairspray which was fantastic! We have had a fab last full week in Year 2 and are excited for transition week!

Our Flashback 4 questions have been: What is a quarter of 12? What careers do you aspire to have? How do Hindu’s celebrate the birth of a baby? Can you name any musical poems and identify the rhyming words?

Next week we will be: Going up to Year 3 for our transition week! This will include lessons such as: Writing, Reading, Maths, Science and even a Dance session! We will be back in our Year 2 class on Friday for our last day.

Our PE day next week is Wednesday.

Our Graduate Award that we are working towards is Art, focusing on Alma Thomas.
