This week, in History, we were learning about the Palaeolithic times and how they lived in tents, using animal skin. They lived in tents because they were moving a lot. This is called a ‘nomadic lifestyle’. In Forest school, we’ve been learning different types of knots for an art project. In Science, we asked “How does the distance of a light source effect the size of a shadow?” We found out that the further away a light source (torch) the smaller the shadow became.
Our “Flashback 4” questions this week were:
1.Name one main difference between the houses of prehistoric Britons during the Palaeolithic era to the Neolithic era?
2.What is monotheism?
3.What are the three types of rocks and how are they formed?
4.What countries make up the British Isles?
Next week, we’ll be asking, “What were some Prehistoric beliefs?”
Our spelling rule next week is “er‘’ sounding words: fool, grew, group, bruise, suitable, revolution, loser, remove, choose, cruise, rudest, undo
Next week, our PE days are Tuesday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor)
