This week in class we have been asking.... Can we retell some of Shakespeare's work in our own words?  Can we read and interpret timetables?  What is the journey of a river in North America?  Can we apply evasive skills to game situations?  What happens when we grow up?  How do we use search tools in a database?

Our ‘Flashback 4’ questions were….

1.Today: Does temperature affect solubility?

2.This/last week: What's the difference between oviparous and viviparous?

3.This term: Why do we have different diets?

4.Last term: How do we evaluate a piece of music?

Next week we will be asking... Can we retell some of Shakespeare's work in our own words?  Do we understand angles and how to measure them? How did Martin Luther contribute to the Reformation?  Can we compare data visually?  What happens to our bodies when we grow?  What are the features of a river?

Year 5 are now having their PE sessions on a Monday and Thursday.

Our spelling rule next week will be the sound 't' and will include the words: recent, not, knot, past, passed, definite, desperate, doubt, definite, identity, attached, sensitive.

Our Graduate Award that we are working towards is the little people big dreams series of books.

REMEMBER: PE is every Monday and Thursday
