This week in class we have been asking....

Can I use numbers up to 10,000,000? Am I ready to start reading more regularly to help me in Year 6? What is it like to be a Year 6? What are my goals for the year? Do I have any fears or worries about being in Year 6? What do I know about the Anglo-Saxons? What do I know about communication and collaboration in the world of Computing? Do I know what evolution is?

Next week we will be asking....

Can I read and write numbers to 10,000,000? What are ‘Powers of 10’ in Maths? Can I identify and use main clauses in writing? Can I identify and correctly use conjunctions in sentences? What are internet addresses and how do they work similarly/differently to normal addresses? Who were the Anglo-Saxons? Can I read/write/say dates in French? What does it mean to be a Global Citizen? What do we mean by the term ‘God Incarnate’?

Our spelling rule next week will be ‘The -s or -es suffix’ including:

boxes, churches, crosses, fizzes, flies, halves, journeys, lives, lunches, monkeys, spies, supplies, witches, wives
