This week in class we have been asking....

What is a ‘Moral Story’? How do I solve calculations involving the Order of Operations? Why are song lyrics meaningful to the person that wrote them? Is there a link between a birds beak and the environment it lives in? What did the Anglo-Saxons make and trade? What have I learnt in Jigsaw about the choices I make and how they can impact my community and the world beyond? Who was Albert Giacometti and how will he influence my art work this term?

What do I need to remember to ensure my narrative writing is balanced? How many words per minute can I read? Can I find equivalent fractions and simplify them? What is the difference between ordering fractions by denominator to ordering them by numerator? What clay skills will I need to use when making my figure sculpture? What ‘Reading’ do I do every day?

Our spelling rule next week will be ‘dge’, ‘ge’, ‘g’ or ‘j’ words including:

badger, challenge, digit, edge, energy, fudge, giant, hedge, hinge, jacket, judge, juice, original, sledge
