This week in class we have been asking:  how much fun is algebra to understand? Why did the Vikings come to Britain?  How does the River Ganges create a sense of spiritual community? How do we communicate around the world? What are visual impairments? 

Next week we will be asking… how do we structure non-chronological reports? Is Algebra becoming more trickyto understand?  Why did the Vikings come to Britain?  How do Hindus celebrate Diwali and Holi?  How does the eye work?

Our spelling rule next week is the sound ‘w’ and includes words like: twelve, consequences, language, wondrous, frequently, equalise.

Year 6 have also been working hard on their handwriting and are taking great pride in their written work.

 Children are free to work on whichever graduate award takes their interest.
