This week we have been continuing with all of the topics we have started so far.  Our writing has continued based on Shakespeare’s MacBeth.  More work on climates around the world, Democracy, Power and Empire in history has been studies.  Computing is a new topic that involves programming micro:bits to perform a variety of functions.  The days have been busy but it’s good preparation for next year.

Next week the children will be completing their narrative work on a modern day retelling of MacBeth.  We will be looking at climate across the world in greater depth.  Our history work on Power, Empire and Democracy will start to look at the space race in the context of the Cold War.  Religion and world views will continue to ask that big questions of what is the purpose of life according to different viewpoints?  The children will also continue to develop their artistic drawing skills and programming those new micro:bits.
