This week in Year 2, we have been reading ‘George’s marvellous medicine’. George thinks his grandma is a witch, so he’s making a disgusting medicine with: paint, chicken stuff and car oil. The next chapter we will read is when Grandma eats her medicine.  

This week in Year 2, we have been learning about plants. We learned new words such as: germination, reproduction and photosynthesis. One-way plants reproduce is they blow seeds around and when they land on the ground they grow again to make a new plant. Birds can eat berries and then poo the seed out to reproduce a new plant.
