This week in Year 2, we finally finished Raven Boy and read about Walter Rayleigh a British explorer, who was knighted by Queen Elizabeth I and went on an expedition to find El Dorado (The city of Gold).

In Numeracy, we have continued to practice our adding and subtracting skills using base 10. We've got particularly good at remember to swap 10 ones for 1 ten when adding larger, 2-digit numbers.

In Theme, we've continued to practice for our Nativity play this week. We also did some science, where we learned what a 'Eat Well Plate' is and what foods make up a healthy meal.
