This week in Year 2, we have been reading 'The day the crayons quit' which was about crayons who needed some rest from colouring too much. Especially red crayon. We have also read 'The History of Britain'. We learned that during the Victoria era they had 'omnibuses' that were pulled by horse.

In  Maths, we have been learning new vocabulary, such as 'vertices' and learning names of 2D and 3D shapes.

In History, we learned who Florence Nightingale was. She was a nurse who helped wounded soldiers who were injured from the Crimean war. In Jigsaw, we discussed our dreams and goals that we have achieved.
