This week in class we have been asking, ‘What is the Pentecost?’ We learned that it was the day the Holy Spirit came to visit Jesus’ disciples. They described the wind coming down and giving them the power to speak lots of different languages so they could travel around the world to spread the message of God. We also asked, ‘Where did prehistoric Britons live?’ We learned that in the early stone age, homosapiens lived tents, so they could travel when they were hunting and gathering food. Whereas in the Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Age, we began farming, so we build more permanent houses.

Our 'Flash Back 4' questions were:

1.Name one main difference between the houses of prehistoric Britons during the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic era in comparison to the Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age?

2.The step-by-step instructions in coding are called what?

3.What are the three types of rocks and how are they formed?

4.What countries make up the British Isles?

Next week we will be asking, ‘What were prehistoric beliefs?’ and ‘What can we learn from shadows?’

Our spelling rule next week is ‘er’ sounding words, such as: firm, consider, exercise, verdict, learn, grammar, favourite, peculiar, popular, certain, certificate and ascertain.

Our PE days are Tuesday (outdoor) and Thursday (indoor)
