This week in Year 3, we have shown kindness by helping and supporting each other when we did our Sport’s Day practice. We have also taken turns when working in pairs and groups. We have tried to cheer our class mates up when they were upset.

This week in Year 3, we have shown courage by trying hard in our new writing groups, practicing for our dance show (which is next week) and preparing for Sport’s Day because we were a little bit nervous as it has been a long time since we did a Sport’s Day. Sadly, the weather meant it had to be cancelled but we are still looking forward to doing Sport’s Day before the end of term.

This week in Year 3, we have shown curiosity when we looked at Egyptian hieroglyphics and used them to make our clay pendants. We were also curious about the races we would be doing on Sport’s Day.

Next week we will be asking questions about what makes a place ‘sacred’ and what special ceremonies happen in ‘sacred’ places.
