This week, we have started a new unit of writing where we have been writing formal letters of application.  Maths has focussed on addition and subtraction.  In geography we have been looking at how trade has changed over time.  Science has involved reversible and irreversible changes.  Next week, we will be continuing our formal letters of application in writing and finishing our maths work on addition and subtraction, including multi-step calculations.  Computing will explore using systems to refine and rank searches online.  Geography will be a look at the Fairtrade system.  Science is an investigation in to separating techniques and RE will be exploring acts of worship at home.  The children have been practising a variety of techniques in gymnastics and will be putting together the skills they have learnt in to a routine.
