This week in class we have been asking....

How can we be persuasive when writing formal letters of application? What are multiples and factors and can they help us multiply and divide? What did the Black Eyed Peas mean when they asked ‘Where is the love?’ How do we refine our searches online? What is the Fairtrade system? What techniques can we use to separate solids that are in a mixture?  Why did we all wear yellow on Thursday?

Our ‘Flashback 4’ questions were….

Today: How do we separate solids?

Last week: How has trade changed over time?

This term: What items are on a HIndu home shrine?

Last term: Who were the Romans?

Next week we will be asking....

How effective is our persuasive writing? What are the different stages of the life cycle of a butterfly? What are factors, multiples, primes, square and cube numbers?  What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Fairtrade system?  How are searches online influenced.  Can we separate a mega mixture using a variety of techniques? What have I learnt in Jigsaw about the choices I make and how they can impact my community and the world beyond?

Our spelling rule next week will be the sound ie including: cyclone, criticise, bridle, bridal, isle, aisle prior, priority, disqualify, via, recognise, mighty.
