This week in class we have been asking:  In science, what is special about fish? In geography, what are the similarities and differences between Nairobi and Hull? In Food Technology, how do my senses help me to enjoy food? In Music, how do I play a glockenspiel? In Maths, what are fractions?

Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:

1. Today: In science, name something that all fish have.

2. This/last week: In Maths, how many equal parts has a pizza that has been cut in half have?

3.This term: In Geography, what continent is Kenya in and what is the weather like?

4. Last term: In Art, what did the sculptor Charles McGee make?

Next week, we will be asking: In science, how can you tell a reptile from an amphibian? In geography, what are the similarities and differences between a village in Kenya and Keyingham? In Music, how can I make the notes sound clearer on a glockenspiel? In Art, how can nature help us to make art? In Maths, how do I find a ¼ of a number?

Next week we will be revisiting the sounds: i_e, o_e and u_e in words such as time, phone and huge.

Please keep working on the The Graduate Awards which you can find on the school website. If you complete one, bring in the work or send photos to admin@keyinghamprimary.co.uk, answer some questions and you can be awarded the certificate.

Next week PE will be on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will be taking part in a Boccia workshop on Tuesday.
