This week in class we have been asking: In RE, why do some Christians say sorry in prayer? In history, what were pre-historic homes like and where did they get water from? In computing, how can I design a program on Scratch? In art, how do I make the secondary colours with water colour paints? In Maths, what are the days of the week and the months of the year?
Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:
1. Today: In history, what materials did pre-historic people make their houses from and what were they called?
2. This/last week: In RE, what do the words worship and praise mean?
3.This term: In science, name the five senses.
4. Last term: In music, what do we call the steady beat that runs through every piece of music?
Next week we will be asking: In music, how can I use pitch with my voice? In science, how does the sense of touch work? In art, how does a wax resist work? In PE, how can I link my movements together to make a dance sequence? In Maths, how do I use an analogue clock?
Next week in Phonics we will be revisiting the sounds: wh, ph and kn in words such as whisk, photo and knock.
Please keep working on the The Graduate Awards which you can find on the school website. If you complete one, bring in the work or send photos to admin@keyinghamprimary.co.uk, answer some questions and you can be awarded the certificate.
Next week PE is back to Wednesday and Thursday so remember your kits please.
Please continue to read at home and send your child with their book to change regularly before the end of term.
