This week in class we have been asking: In music, how can I use pitch with my voice? In science, how does the sense of touch work? In art, how does a wax resist work? In PE, how can I link my movements together to make a dance sequence? In Maths, how do I use an analogue clock? Please scan the QR code for a performance of the song that we have learnt in music this term. We enjoyed performing it to Y2.
Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:
1. Today: In music, what style of music was the Pink Panther?
2. This/last week: In computing, why do computers need algorithms?
3.This term: In history, what materials were used for pre-historic homes?
4. Last term: In Geography, is Nairobi a rural or urban area?
Next week will be our last full week as Year 1s so we will be showcasing all of our learning through our work in Geography by comparing the urban and rural areas of Kenya that we have learnt about, making our wax resist work using nature to inspire us, using our sense of taste to describe different foods and we will be able to ask Reverend Alisdair about how Christians worship and praise God when we visit the church on Monday.
