This week has been our last full week as Year 1s so we have enjoyed showcasing all of our learning through our work in Geography by comparing the urban and rural areas of Kenya that we have learnt about, making our wax resist work using nature to inspire us,  and we really enjoyed being able to ask Reverend Alisdair about how Christians worship and praise God when we visited the church on Monday.
Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:
1 Today: In science, what is special about amphibians?
2. This/last week:in RE, how old is St. Nicholas Church?
3.This term: In history, what was a jetty on a Tudor House?
4. Last term: In Geography, what is a rural area?

Next week we will be visiting our new classes for 4 days and will return to Year 1 for Friday to say a final farewell.
Please keep working on the The Graduate Awards which you can find on the school website. If you complete one, bring in the work or send photos to admin@keyinghamprimary.co.uk, answer some questions and you can be awarded the certificate.
It has been my pleasure to teach your fabulous children this year and to watch them grow into amazing Year 2-ready children. They have learnt so much and thoroughly deserve a holiday!
