This week in class we have been asking: We will be scientists by carrying out an investigation asking; do all apples have the same number of seeds? We will be artists by combining the work of Paul Klee and Piet Mondrian. We will be Theologians by explaining how Christians show that they belong to Christianity.

Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:

  1. Today: In writing, what do we need to use to start a sentence?

2. This/last week: In RE, which special building does Sarah visit?

3. This term: In science, what part of a tree keeps it upright?

4. Last term: In forest school, what do we call the time of year when the leaves fall from the trees?

Next term, we will be asking: In computing, how can I paint on an iPad? In science, what is the weather like today? In history, what have I done today? In RE, what is a saviour? In Jigsaw, what is similar and different about us all?

In Phonics, we will be recapping all of the Set 2 sounds (see sounds mat in Reading Book Bag to support your child further).

PE Days: will continue to be Monday and Wednesday.

Book Bags: please send your child with their books on a Monday to be changed for the week. I have now included the book they have been reading in their Phonics lesson as well as their reading book so they have extra to read.
