This week in class we have been asking:  In computing, how can I use straight lines? In history, what can a timeline tell us? In science, how do the seasons change? In Jigsaw, how can we include everyone? In design and technology, how do I make a slider? In Maths, what are the number bonds to 10? In Writing, what is a setting?

Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:

  1. Today: In maths, show and tell me the doubles to 5

2. This/last week: In science, what seasonal changes can you see outside?

3. This term: In computing, what is the name of the tool you can use to fix mistakes?

4. Last term: In RE, what was the name of the special building that Sarah would visit?

Next week, we will be asking: In history, what is a family tree? In science, what changes happen in winter and autumn? In Jigsaw, how can I help others? In design and technology, what slider should I use for my design? In computing, how do I add shapes to my digital picture? In maths, what does subtraction involve? In writing, how can use ‘and’ in a sentence to describe my setting?

In Phonics, we will be recapping all of the Set 2 sounds (see sounds mat in Reading Book Bag to support your child further).

PE Days: will continue to be Monday and Wednesday.

Book Bags: please send your child with their books on a Monday to be changed for the week. I have now included the book they have been reading in their Phonics lesson as well as their reading book so they have extra to read.
